Liccione

It's never to early to celebrate Christmas and the holidays, unless, of course, you are Victoria Boros Liccione, who becomes distressed when merchants begin to display their holiday wares in November before Thanksgiving.

This year the Merchandise Mart has a holiday shopping event entitled One Of A Kind.   It begins December 1 and runs through the 4th, with over 600 artists displaying their works.

I have no doubt that if Victoria is in Chicago to see Hamilton for a third time (hopefully she will call her friends this time), she will stop by the Mart to partake in this festive event.

And thanks to the guy on the street who stopped to offer his photographic advice when I was making this photograph.  After all, he takes pictures, too.  Nice of you to say you wouldn't say anything, and then instruct me on how to center the photograph on the Christmas tree--I had already done that.  I did a pretty good job.  I checked in Photoshop.  Unfortunately, the building, itself, is not symmetrical: The center support column under the street level is not centered on the center of the door.
