St. Patrick’s Day is the real deal in Chicago, so I headed out to capture those wearin’ the green on Saturday. Much to my surprise, pro-Palestinian demonstrators ‘crashed’ the festivities mid-afternoon. Here are my thoughts about and images from the day.
According to one report, between 5,000 and 8,000 people filled the streets of Chicago last Saturday in support of the Palestinian people. Here are my thoughts about the third Palestinian demonstration since the start of the Israeli-Hamas War, together with the images I captured during Saturday’s massive rally and march.
Saturday afternoon Chicago’s Ukrainian Community celebrated Ukrainian Independence Day with a march, followed by a rally along the Chicago River. Flags, K-Poppers, and Ukrainian War Veterans showed up, together with 2,000 demonstrators. Here are my thoughts about and observations from the day’s events
