On November 6, 2025, those who gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. the prior day returned for a second day of demonstrations. About 200 people marched from George Washington University to Georgetown University. By and large, the march was a bust. Here are my thoughts about and images from the event.
To commemorate the anniversary of the election that brought Donald J. Trump to power for a second time, several groups held a rally on the National Mall near the Washington Monument on November 5th, 2025. Somewhere between 500 and 1,000 joined together, many dressed in fanciful costumes inspired by the demonstrators in Portland, Oregon. The group then marched to the Capitol and the U.S. Supreme Court.
