I spent a week in New York City beginning July 21. While there, I visited several museums, went to both Governors Island and Ellis Island, and did plenty of walking. Here are my thoughts about and photographs from an invigorating week.

Signs are everywhere in New York City, taking many forms. Collectively, the signage reveals our collective consciousness. On this trip, the signage brought together Halloween and the Presidential election, which complemented each other. One produced anxiety, while the other reduced it. Here are my thoughts about the signs and images from daily walks.
