On the Vanguard

Peruvian Protest
While headed north from the Lower East Side, I found myself in New York City’s Union Square today, where about 25 demonstrators were holding a rally in support of Peruvian President Pedro Castillo Terrones, who was ousted from office and imprisoned during a December 7, 2022 coup.
